Description

Join Domtar and SCA on Saturday, September 29th to help restore Sanborn Park in Port Huron, MI!

Domtar has joined forces with the Student Conservation Association -- an organization dedicated to developing tomorrow's conservation leaders -- to lead community service projects at Domtar sites across the US. Together, we will restore parks and other natural resources in locations where Domtar employees live and work.

Sanborn Nature Area is adjacent to Sanborn Park. Its natural setting has a diversity of plant and animal life and is frequently used by area teachers and organizations as a resource for nature instruction. The trails and bridge add to the unspoiled effect of the area for families and individuals. Volunteers will be helping maintain trails, remove brush and refresh picnic tables!
